Fresh Start

I really just want it to be next week already. This past week has been so draining and taken a lot out of me. First off, I was sick and thats never any fun! Then there was this third week of school funk going on. This week was just super busy and I felt like I was playing catch up everyday, it's just exhausting.

Next week should be so refreshing though. Today was a good start. I had NOTHING to do...but I didn't know what to do with myself (This is the first Friday since being layed off)! I finally got a good night's sleep and picked my car up from the shop. New break pads.... sweet! I honestly love getting anything fixed on my car because I'm so excited that something is new or works better and I temporarily forget that my car is a station wagon, haha! I'm strange, I know!

Anways, back to next week... My planner is all written out and that's a great start. Ever since I went out and got a planner my life has been a little less stressful, thank you Office Max ;) The only problem is that I feel like I have more to do now since I write everything down! Tuesday I'm getting my hair done which is always fun for me. I like a little change and I like talking to Linsey. Wednesday makes me just a tad nervous though because we're singing in quartets in front of class. Oh well, it should be fine. Then next weekend I'm going to San Diego! I am so excited for that! I'll get to visit Sisters family and see AllStar! Doesn't get much better, plus San Diego is beautiful and we're hoping to go to the beach. I'll post more as it gets closer or once I get back.

That's it for now. Hopefully this week will go smoothly and less stressful than last!

Very Strange Moment

Let me start by saying that I am really excited to go to Biola next semester. Yes, I am a little nervous, but that's normal and I'm more excited than scared! I'll get to my point now...

My brother just came up to me a few minutes ago and asked me when I'm going to Biola.

I didn't like that. I don't know, it just felt weird to have my brother ask me about it. We've always had each other there for everything in our lives and now I'm leaving him. It's not that I feel guilty leaving him, I just feel.... strange? I cant put it in words. He'll be okay. I'll be okay. We'll all be okay. This is what happens when you grow up!

Until You

Oh Dave Barnes, you sing to my soul!

Ever since I heard this song I have been in love with it.

"I need you, now and forever
To stay right here with me
Dont ever leave
Love was kept from me like a secret
And I swore that I was through
Until you".

"I left all I knew and found the better part of me"

I could just type out the whole song, but I shall refrain from doing so. I have a lot on my mind and I just felt like writing something, anything! This is not what was on my mind, but it was on my iPod. I hope to find this love someday, I believe God will give it to me eventually.

I'm very tired and going to sleep now. This whole college thing is no piece of cake!
Night!

My completely insane day.

JACKKSBANDS ♥ Reunited and it feels so good!

From start to finish, yesterday sure kept me on my toes.

I was so excited for the day to come because Push Play was back in town for the day I was seeing them later on. The day started nice with a good sister bonding talk (I love when we get along), then the next call I received was not so pleasent. It was my boss. Thanks to the terrible economy I am out of a job and it really sucks. I wasn't fired, but if I don't find a job, I am out of work until the store gets busier. Just have to be more aware of my spending habits and look on the bright side of things. So that pretty much put me in a crappy mood and the last thing I wanted to do was talk to anybody. But after getting ready and driving over to Ari's where we were all meeting up I felt so much better!

The guys put on a great acoustic show and I got to see all my girls that I rarely see! They were a sight for sore eyes. It was so nice to reunite and just run and hug them. I wish we had more time, but they had been up and going all day and had a plain to catch, so I'm thankful for any time I got with them!

However, my night of course couldn't simply end there. We were saying our goodbyes and while we were waiting for our car we meet this band promoting their show coming up. I know what you're thinking! "Oh geez Kimmy, not another band"! Trust me, I was thinking the same thing! We ended up talking for awhile and long story short we all (Myself, Ari, Panda, Melis, Zach, Nate, Michael, and Tom) decided to go to dinner since we were all starving. We choose Chili's since Zach had a gift card haha. This is where things go downhill again...
Lucky me, I was the driver as usual. We were gonna meet them where they parked and just follow them. It was not that easy! I couldn't find the structure and nobody could give me any directions so I was driving around in circles and kept flipping U turns (all of which were legal) and I had a bad feeling I was going to get pulled over. Well, we finally figured out where we were going and what happens next? I get pulled over. That sucked. No ticket though. The cop was the biggest jerk and I normally have no problem with the law. He though I was drunk. Clearly I wasn't! Then he goes "Or you could just be deaf, blind, or stupid". I was outraged and just livid after that. But he realized we were just completely lost and gave us directions.

Luckily we eventually made it to the dang Chili's after much deliberation of should we go or go home. Thankfully the guys were there or I was just going to be even more upset. That would have just been the icing on the cake. After we sat down and got some food and water in us we were so much better and the guys were really cool. I could bore you with details but lets be honest, you don't care. If you do you can ask. If anyone has even read all this, you are pretty amazing.

Great night minus all the crap. Finally saw our New Yorkers and met some new music boys, who are called ALLSTAR(and live right near my sister in SD, small world. Go but their single on iTunes =] Picture recap coming soon!

Oh Warrior...

The main purpose of this blog is to have an answer to everyone in one place. I keep getting the question of how I got on some movie set. Now, you will have your answers and some more little things I feel like throwing in because I have so many great memories. Let's start from the beginning shall we?

Technically it started when Katie got an email from Be In A Movie.com saying they were filming a movie at COC, needed extras, and it was staring Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene from Twilight. We weren't their number one fans or anything but we loved Twilight so we though we would check it out. Since Ari's mom works at COC, she checked her email and there it was... all the details about the filming. After finding all this out we decided to go pay a visit to my school and see what was going (and hopefully meet Kellan). That was about two weeks ago on a Tuesday. We found out it was an open set so after some time pondering what to do, a man told us to just walk on. Low and behold, there is Kellan just standing there; Ari being bold, walks up and makes our presense known. That night we were able to meet him and spend some time with him (he is an amazing person, in case you were curious) and we made friends with the stunt guys. They joked about us bringing food, but we delivered.
The next night we came back with a humongous tray of cookies and let me just say, they were a hit. C'mon, all those guys on set, they couldn't resist. It went so well we brought more the next night. They loved it, and us. Everyone on set was so nice and made us all feel so welcomed. After those few days we were sad it had to end, but we knew the time was coming, or so we though. Basically long story short, after all those days we were able to just walk right on set the next few times they were back since they needed to shoot more than planned. It was a great experience and we met some great people.

Its getting late and I really need some sleep, but I think it's important to tell you about some of the people I met because they have made a mark on me.
Lets just start with Kellan since he's the star of the movie... I really hope he stays true to who he is. He is sweet, caring, and loves him family, friends, and fans. Oh, and he gives amazing hugs! I also love his little sister. Next, let me tell you about Aaron Hill, or as I like to call him, Beaver. His true character was shown on the last night after the movie wrapped. I honestly adore him and he is simply wonderful. You dont need to know all the details but he went out of his way for us, and for that I am so thankful and hope only the best for him... he deserves it. Now I'll mention Chord, we didn't talk all that much but he's a good kid. This is his first movie and it's neat to be there for that. Last but not least we have Jay. Jay Jay Jay... I never know what to say haha. He is honestly so funny and one of those people you just like to be around. Plus he doesn't mind me wearing his jacket when it's cold. We just got along really well and he can take my sarcasm.

So if you have read all this... WOW! I knew it would be long, I have over a weeks worth to say! Hope you enjoyed my story. Clearly the best parts were the little moments, but that would just take to long and it probably wouldn't be as exciting to you. Look out for this movie in several months, I think it will be really good. Plus, it doesn't hurt that they're all so good looking :)

Before we part, here is a video from the last night. I had to say this to Jay since he was in House Bunny. Feel free to check out my pictures on facebook or myspace.
